North Pennines Archaeology Ltd is an established archaeological contracting consultancy based at the heart of the picturesque North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our fully trained staff, with backgrounds which include Industrial, Landscape, Roman and Environmental Archaeology are highly equipped to undertake the identification, evaluation, management and conservation of all forms of Cultural Heritage.

We are also part of the North Pennines Heritage Trust, which was founded in 1987 to enhance and conserve the historic environment. We maintain close relationships with the Trust as part of our commitment to education and social enterprise, helping people to become engaged with the Cultural Heritage and we welcome public participation in archaeological projects and provide advice and training to those who wish to enter the world of consulting archaeology.
